The partnership formed by URS Corporation and Continental Building Systems was vital to the success of our five-story office building in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
The pre-construction services Continental Building Systems provided allowed the framework for the budget and schedule to be built and implemented. Working closely with their team, we ran through several design and budget scenarios such as foundation systems, economy of structural steel design and type of electric service until the right solution became clear. Once accomplished, the project design was completed and it was bid, permitted and constructed in a challenging twelve month time frame without going over budget.
